South of our accomodations on 110th street you will find beautiful Central Park.
The Central Park offers walking, ice scating, hiking, boating, canoing and swimming.
Enjoy the overlooking view of the Lake at the Boatshouse Restaurant. This and Tavern on the Green are two of the famous restaurants within the park . Treat yourself to a great lunch or enjoy a fabulous dinner in a beautiful and relaxing atmosphere.
More attractions of The Park are: The Central Park Zoo, The Belvedere Castle, Tavern on the Green, Adult Climbing, Tennis Center, The Jaqueline Kennedy Onassis Reservoir and Strawberry fields right across from John Lennon's Apartment at the famous Dakota building..

On the West side of The Park there is The Natural History Museum which is one of the most famous tourist attractions in New York City.
The architecture alone makes the museum stand out. At the Central Park West entrance a bronze statue of President Theodore Roosevelt on a horseback will greet you  right before you enter this magnificent building.

At this location there is also The New Rose Center of Earth and Space. It has been one of the world's preeminent science and research institutions, renowned for its collections and exhibitions that illuminate millions of years of the earth's evolution, from the birth of the planet through the present day.
Further south you reach on 59th street the Columbus Circle, named for Christopher Columbus and Columbus' first voyage to the Americas.

The monument at the center, is the point at which distances to and from New York City are officially measured. Don't miss shopping and dining at the shops inside.

When you continue walking south you walk onto the most bustling square in New York City or perhaps the entire planet. The Times Square.

It is known for its many Broadway Theaters, Cinemas and Super Signs.

that never sleeps"


Even though the whole city is a shopping place you have to experience the highly exclusive stores on Fifth Avenue  The City's shopping district. Most of the stores are representing some of the worlds most magnificent designers like Bulgari, Cartier, Tiffany, Prada, Coup De Couture, Gucci and Luis Vuitton. While on Fifth Avenue don't forget to bring your kids, or the kid in you to FAO Schwartz the worlds famous toy store.

At Fifth Avenue and 34th Street stands New York City's most famous building, The Empire State Building. The symbol of this city was constructed in only two years, 1930 to 31.
You can visit The Empire State Building's observatory on the 86th floor from where you have a magnificant view over the city of New York. Choose for this visit a nice and clear day.

Further south you will reach Union Square on Broadway and 14th street. This is an important and historic intersection in New York City. There is a famous Greenmarket where regional small family farmers sell their fruits, vegetables and other products. Union Square Holiday Market is held November 23rd through December 24th. It is a popular meeting place in Manhattan. Go for shopping around there.  You will find Designer Brands at great prices.

South of 14th street between 7th and 8th Avenue is Greenwich Village. "The Village" is the home to celebreties and many young adults, artists, local historians. Julian Moore, Liv Tyler, Lenny Kravitz, Matt Damon, Uma Thurman, Gwyneth Paltrow are only a few of them who live in Grenwich Village.
Its street layout does not coincide with most of Manhattan's formal grid plan. Narrow streets, small cafe's and restaurants give"The Village" a unique flair.
